Shannon and Harry

Shannon_Harry wedding

Shannon and Harry were married at Howfield Manor yesterday. After waiting for almost two years due to the pandemic, their big day arrived. The sun shone down making the perfect day for them and their friends and family.

Given that the last eighteen months have seen most weddings postponed, it was a fabulous day and everyone made the most of it. Sixty guests including friends and family made the trip to see Shannon and Harry finally tie the knot.

This was my second successive wedding at Howfield Manor and what a fantastic venue. I can’t say enough about the staff who made everyone welcome. The occasion was well managed by Toastmaster Trevor, resplendent in his red jacket. He ensured the wedding day ran as smooth as clockwork. For me, a toastmaster is great to have around. He or she are always true professionasl and I always know what’s coming regarding the schedule. Trevor is the best I’ve seen, a true gentleman.

It was also a pleasure to work alongside Zoe and Paul who run Mr and Mrs Occasion Photography. They were the photographers for the wedding day and we all enjoyed doing our best for the wedding couple.

Now that restrictions are about to be lifted, I’m looking forward to getting back to what I do best. That’s filming happy couples and their wedding day. It always puts a smile on my face at the end of the day when I know I have done my best for them. That’s why the drive home is always a great way to end the day.
